Glaucoma is an eye illness characterized by increasing pressure inside the eye, usually as a result of nerve damage. Glaucoma is a major cause of eyesight loss. The first effect is a narrowing of the field of view. The disease might lead to irreversible blindness if treatment is delayed. If the right drug is given at the right time, glaucoma may be treated. Bimatoprost is one medication used to boost aqueous humor drainage from the eye. Trabecular outflow is also improved by this medication. Ophthalmic/eye drops are the delivery system for the glaucoma treatment bimatoprost. One drop of Bimatoprost Careprost ophthalmic (0.01%) should be placed in the afflicted eye(s) once a day, preferably before bedtime, to treat glaucoma.
