16 Years of International Education Experience
In August 2007, a group of American teachers formed a tight-knit community in Shandong, China. Driven by a shared passion for education and a need for support in a foreign country, this dedicated team laid the foundation for CITA. What started as a small gathering has since evolved into a dynamic network of educators, inspiring one another and shaping the future of learning. Today, CITA continues to thrive as a community-driven organization committed to empowering teachers and students alike.
This marked the beginning of a transformative bridge that spanned borders, cultures, and perspectives, igniting a powerful force of growth and collaboration. Over the course of 16 years, the Bridge grew stronger, establishing a solid foundation of adjustment, development, exploration, acquisition, and cooperation.
Building upon the legacy of BridgeKinder, the California International Teachers Association (CITA) emerged as a distinguished group of exceptional international educators with a global mindset, a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, and an openness to different perspectives. In 2008, CITA laid its foundation in Shandong, China when a community of international teachers from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia came together in Taian to offer mutual support and guidance.
